The 3/4 tiered kitchen composter is designed to be modular.

Unit A and B comes with plastic wire woven at the bottom. This acts as a
separator and provides the space for air to enter from the bottom of the pile of
composting.

Cover this weave with a single sheet of newspaper when you begin using the Kambha. This is done to help contain the organic waste from falling through the weave to the bottom most unit. The paper will get wet and will disintegrate when a unit is full. It needs to be replaced when you empty the unit for a fresh lot of waste.
The bottom unit is supplied with a 4 inch layer of dried leaves that acts like a bed for the first leechate to drain into.
When you begin using the Kambha, the organic waste is always filled into the top unit (Unit A).

Organic matter decomposes in the 3/4 tiered kitchen composters in an aerobic environment (composting in the presence of oxygen)
