It's a practical and attractive way to manage my city's waste.

It took about 3 months to get the first kambha. It involved getting samples from Bangalore, finding and selecting right potter,trial and error at the pottery workshop,sourcing the accessories in Mumbai(accelerator, neem,lemon grass oil, etc) Also creating the initial interest among people.
The first sale was made a few days after i started showing the leaflets to friends, but it took about 3 months to deliver the first kambha

It took us a little over 4 months- partly because we were unable to identify someone to make them locally and partly because the monsoons delayed the arrival of the pots we ordered from Bangalore
We have sold 11 Khambas and two Leave-it-Pots to 9 Customers. Since our shop opened only on the 24th of Jan, We have been selling the units largely through word-of-mouth.
