These intrepid entrepreuners travel from village to village collecting scrap in exchange of vessels in steel and aluminium. They will not pick up bottles and other materials from the roadside, they like to deal with homes and businesses where each transaction nets some sizeable income.
Picking off the streets is time-consuming, not as profitable and dirty work.

They halt at night at rooms in one town and when they have filled each truck with enough “waste” raw material and sold this off, they head back home to their village for a break.
